Weight is determined by the length and thickness of rails.
12" Rails are 1.75lbs at 1/2" thickness
14" rails are 1.5lbs at 3/8" thickness, 2lbs at 1/2" thickness
16" rails are 1.8lbs at 3/8" thickness and 2.3lbs at 1/2" thickness
